AIR 3331: “hébi, ch.1, 金”

"Yearning, envy, ambition, and constant jealousy. The candle lit by these emotions has already melted, leaving deep wounds in my heart."

As a presentation of her resulting work, AIR 3331 resident artist CHRISTIANA RÁIKI shares her exhibition titled, "hébi, ch.1, 金". The artworks shown here make up the small project that grew from what the artist describes as "attempts at grabbing and pulling out what lies at the depths of the (her) heart."

Exploring the themes of folklore and legend through images of the female, CHRISTIANA has brought experimentation to the various methods of photography practiced during her 2-month residency. We invite you to come witness the wide range of developments undergone within her project that uses the motif of "snakes" as its starting point.
