Artist: Andrew Opty (The Netherlands)
Andrew Opty has for the past several years been interested in the basic physical elements of acrylic painting such as color, material and technique. In this residency, he explores some of these same interests within Japanese paper and ink, while taking lessons and inspiration from traditional Japanese painting.
