When people don't get what I'm trying to say, I wish they could look directly inside my brain. It seems that not far in the future, technology will make this possible. If this happens, words will lose their value as a tool for communicating the information inside our brains. Just as coins and bank notes have become cryptocurrencies, instead of being seen by our eyes or heard by our ears, words will be received by our brains as "images". For this exhibition, through a unique arrangement of the Japanese language table, I will use a "mechanism for giving shape to words" in order to extract shapes from various Japanese words. I will turn these shapes into wings to create paper airplanes. I would like visitors to imagine what the world would be like if they were cut off from words.
