Started in 2001 with the hope to make the 21st century a century of peace, the "Tomodachi-ten" has connected the hearts of children through the exchange of children's drawings and messages in Japan, North Korea, South Korea, and Koreans living in Japan.
This year's "Tomodachi-ten" is an online painting exhibition that can be participated from anywhere.
The corona disaster has been in its third year, and it's getting harder and harder to meet new friends. In the midst of that, children from all over the world have sent us drawings with the theme of "My News"!
On November 26th, during the exhibition period, I would like to make up for the time I couldn't meet at "Tomodachi-ten Day - My News, Everyone's News" where the friends of the Tomodachi Exhibition will gather.

We invited Mrs. Kayoko Ebina who hosts a peace gathering every year in March, when ｔhere was a Tokyo air raid, as a guest, while listening to your own war experiences, we will think about what we must not forget for peace.
