According to Arendt's theory, to be free means "to meet others in society by action and word. This "action" is the only thing that is irreplaceable, the only thing that creates a gap or breach in the conventional norm. By creating such "gaps," the artists bring about "new freedom and new values" that transcend the norms of society.
This exhibition is an attempt to explore the identities of the four artists through their two-dimensional expressions, and to clarify the way in which new values are presented in human society.
