【Hiroyuki Ooki Award】

宮川佑理子/Yuriko MIYAGAWA
《Untitled》
Born 1987, Saitama Prefecture.
Member of Social Welfare Organization "Minuma", Kawaguchi Taiyo no Ie.
While repeating the words "round and round", she draws slowly onto the picture placed on a table, spreading the paint directly with the palms of her hands in a dynamic movement as if swimming in breaststroke.
Juror's Comment】Hiroyuki Ooki(Contemporary Artist, Film Maker)Miyakawa's painting
In the venue of the POCORART exhibition,
Clearly "draws in" the things around it.

【Noboru Tsubaki Award】

森本 孝/Takashi MORIMOTO
《頂上の街》
Born 1946, Okamura prefecture, currently resides in Kanagawa prefecture. Morimoto began serious creative production after retirement. His work consists of a merging ofdrawing, kinetic devices and text, grown upon the soil of ideas towards the existence of the self and the universe.

【Juror's Comment】
Noboru Tsubaki(Contemporary Artist, Head of Department of Art & Craft, Tokyo Zokei University)This work which especially caught my attention makes links between ,while at the same time erasing, the objectivity of science and the subjectivity of art at a primordial level, going beyond all forms of imprinting and tacit consent to transcendentally create an independent value.

【Kenjiro Hosaka Award】

鶴川弘二/Koji TSURUKAWA
《Untitled》Born
1973, Hyogo prefecture. Member of Studio Pocchi. Here there is an explosion of writing and patterns including circles, toilet signs drawn with markers which gradually continue to change.
【Juror's Comment】
Kenjiro Hosaka(Chief Curator Tokyo Museum of Modern Art)
"Georgia Café Au Lait is great" "It doesn't smell" "I won't allow it" "My bottom hurts"The words which appear in this work slip from the purpose of telling someone in particular something and become suspended within the air.

【Nakamura Masato Award】

平野智之/Tomoyuki HIRANO
《Ms Miho Series》Born 1987, Tokyo
Member of Craft Lab La Mano
In this work which is being developed in chapters as a DVD the main character Ms Miho is based upon a former member of staff at Craft Lab La Mano.
【Juror's Comment】
Masato Nakamura(Artist, Associate Professor of Tokyo University of the Arts, Director of 3331 Arts Chiyoda)
When you take a look at this work you can not help but become intrigued by the presence of Miho. Where and how does she live her life?
The surface is formed of a forceful line of drawing and carefully painted. This superb pop like composition, excludes all unnecessary information and decoration, bringing to the imagination a rich deep landscape.
【Chiyoda Mayoral Award】

鎌江一美/Kazumi KAMAE
《Person》
Born 1966, Shiga prefecture
Member of Yamamini Atelier. The motif of her work is always the man who is the object of her affections. The source of her power comes from the thoughts towards the man she longs for and whom she goes to greet as part of her daily routine.
【Juror's Comment】
Masami Ishikawa(Mayor of Chiyoda Ward)While we can see their hands perhaps spreading, we can also sense the strength of their confrontation with the viewer. This is a work which the viewer can face while interpreting many expressions with various senses.

【Audience Award】

市川航也/Kouya ICHIKAWA
《Forest World》
Born 1992, Kanagawa prefecture. Currently studying in the Arts Department of Tsukuba University. In the same way that leaves make up the trees, and the trees make up the forest, the image of this work seems to have been drawn with a sense that lines join to form each part, and each part joins to form a whole, in which minutely detailed drawings come to give rise to the full picture. The audience award is selected in a process by which each visitor is requested to vote for their 3 most favourite works and the one with the most votes is declared the winner.
