A national open call exhibition creating a space for free expression
The 'POCORART National Open Award Exhibition 2011' (held in January, 2011), which saw the main gallery filled with artwork of overwhelming power, was the subject of much discussion as many viewers felt a strong impact from the work. Working toward the second 'POCORART National Open Call Exhibition vol.2', a screening of applications took place in September. The 1267 entries received from all over the country were inspected until late into the night, and 238 works were selected (237 will be shown in the exhibition). We asked the four judges their thoughts about what they saw in the sports hall of 3331 where the applications had been laid out to cover the whole floor.
