[AIR 3331] Gaby López and Javiera Gómez Open Studio

Artists: Gaby López and Javiera Gómez

During their open studio, Gaby López and Javiera Gómez will be sharing works in progress created during their time in residency at AIR 3331. Gaby's project "Along Those Lines" recomposes Tokyo's urban landscape through images of a walk in which she followed the thirty eight stations of the Toei Oedo subway route at street level. Javiera's project "Poems of Green Clouds" materializes the embodied experience of the Japanese tea ceremony through a participatory installation that meditates on the processes of tea making and the gestures that surround this ritual.
