Today, over 70 million are forcibly displaced due to wars, persecution, violence and poverty, and many others are fleeing their homes in search of safety. This is the largest global displacement situation since World War II. Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) will be hosting a public information campaign titled "Endless Journey - End This Journey" to raise awareness about the plight of those who are forced to flee, and will be hosting some events and exhibitions.
Some of the highlights of the event/exhibition includes:
- An exhibition following the footsteps of refugees and migrants that crossed the Mediterranean Sea, Lake Chad region (Africa), Syria, the Rohingya, Central America, as well as medical needs in other parts of the world
- Exhibitions of inflatable surgical tents, 4WD, and other items/equipment used in MSF fields
- Items used and carried by the forcibly displaced, and the drawings they left
- Collaborative art and poem pieces by poet Shuntaro Tanigawa, and artist Izumi Moroizumi
- Talk events and workshops with Writer/Creator Seiko Ito, Photojournalist Atsushi Shibuya, and MSF staff
