<"Tokyo: Recording of inner-mind" Open Studio>
An open studio event with AIR 3331 participating artist, Yongwon Kim. For her residency, she will present her works in progress based on her research.
She offers a new interpretation of the ecological perspective surrounding the community of AIR 3331, in which she has been staying, to be incorporated in 'the recording of the inner-side' series. In other words, this is not simply drawing the general landscape, but looking at the life of the local residents in the area, to record Tokyo's life as 'day-drawing', especially the Tokyo Imperial Palace nearby the residence as her main subject. She is also carrying out another project with her own new perspective that is related to historical natural scenes in Tokyo.
