This installation artwork reimagines the artists childhood family office space through countless collected receipts, drawings, and proposals for invented administration processes. At its core the work reflects a shared will to create chaos from order. The room inside this installation exists as a world within a world, it acts as a contemplative space for reflecting on absence and loss and pursuing recovery and reinvention. The work responds to modern destruction of traditional mythologies and invites visitors to consider how they construct and maintain their own personal mythologies. This artwork presents the things that we collect and keep as important parts of that process.
