< Sunwoo Kim (Seoul) >

Sunwoo ponders through his paintings, "why people don't really know what they want and what true freedom is." Using the motif of the extinct Dodo bird, the image could be seen as a vehicle for wandering freely through contemporary society. This time, he portrays the Dodo bird wandering through street scenes of everyday Tokyo.
