[AIR 3331] August Vilella, Two Exhibitions

August Vilella, a Barcelona based artist, creates oil paintings using a surreal-intuitive method. Without using any previous sketches or ideas he tries to give shape to his past and future through the subconscious mind. Through his three month residency in Tokyo, he will attempt a new series of paintings that won't reflect the material and physical image of Japan, but instead its deep impression and impact on people's souls. We invite you to experience Vilella's world through two exhibitions:
