3331 Galleries -Valeur-

Twelve galleries presently reside within 3331 Arts Chiyoda.
3331 Arts Chiyoda, a community arts center with 600,000 visitors a year, offers a glimpse into the contemporary art scene of Tokyo.
Twelve distinctive galleries together launch diverse art expressions from the Kanda-Akihabara area, a rising gallery area of Tokyo. One artist from each participating gallery will be featured in this group exhibition "3331 Galleries -Valeur-."
"Valeur" is a French artistic term that refers to tone of a painting and its relation to the composition, translated as "color value." This complex term contains more than just one concept, and the corresponding English term would be "value." The exhibition is titled "Valeur" in hopes that this convergence of diverse galleries will nurture 3331 Arts Chiyoda as a place to demonstrate fresh potential.
In this exhibition, eight galleries will present their artists' works in two terms. Please enjoy gallery hopping throughout 3331 Arts Chiyoda together with this exhibition.
