CfSHE Gallery is pleased to present the recent works of April Vollmer, New York based American artist and printmaker who works primarily in Mokuhanga, Japanese Woodblock, from October 3rd 2015 to October 18th 2015. Vollmer participated in Nagasawa Art Park Artist-in-Residence program in 2004 and worked on the book about Mokuhanga as the first writer- researcher at MI-LAB in 2013. She recently had her book "Japanese Woodblock Print Workshop" published by Watson-Guptill in July 2015.
Artist's Biography
Vollmer graduated from CUNY Hunter College MFA in New York in 1983 and has shown her works extensively throughout US and Japan.
