CfSHE Gallery is pleased to present the recent works of Tom Thijsse, an Amsterdam based print artist from March 18th 2015 to March 29th 2015. Tom served as a professor of printmaking department from Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and from Royal Academy of Art, The Hague.
He has been specialized in oil-based woodblock printmaking. He participated in Nagasawa Art Park Artist-in-Residence of Mokuhanga (Japanese Woodblock Printmaking) in 1999 whose experiences led him to combine the mokuhanga techniques, materials and inspirations from Japanese culture with his work that reveals humorous and satirical expression. This is Tom's second solo exhibition in Tokyo and features his latest work made after 2013 as well as his artist book.
This exhibition coincides with 3331 Art Fair 2015 - Various Collectors' Prizes (March 21, 2015 - March 29, 2015) in which CfSHE Gallery presents works of Tom and Eva Pietzcker.

Tom participated in Nagasawa Art Park Artist-in-Residence Program in 1999. His solo exhibition was organized at CfSHE Gallery in February 2013.
