OPEN TALK 2020 vol.01 -EXTRAORDINARY WORKS BY DISABLED ARTISTS

Guests: Chisato Minamimura (Choreographer/Dancer/Teacher/Art Presenter in BSL)

Arts Council Tokyo is pleased to announce launching a new talk&dialogue program "OPEN TALK 2020". This program aims to generate the platform that people enable to meet the new value, inspire the creativity, and gain clews to exptertize worth-to-do towards 2020 and beyond.

As the first edition of this program, we provide an opportunity to introduce "UNLIMITED", the support program for art works by disabled artists in UK. "UNLIMITED" is one of remarkable program of the cultural olympiad in London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games that is still expanding its programs nationally and internationally as a legacy of London 2012.

Moreover, featuring guest, Chisato Minamimura, a deaf dance artist born in Japan and now based in London, will give us the fruitful talk presenting her art works, experience of taking part of London 2012 Paralympic opening ceremony, engagement with UNLIMITED and Arts guide in BSL.

Through this session, we expect to offer people the inspiration to think of something forward around diversity, social inclusion, society and arts, etc.
