Junya Nagata was born in Tottori prefecture in 1987. He graduated from Tokyo Zokei University, Faculty of Design and Art, Painting Major in 2011. Now he lives in Chiba Prefecture.
He won Excellent Prize at "The 9th Gunma Biennale For Young Artists 2008", The Museum of Modern Art, Gunma in 2008 and participated in "Oxidized Reality -7 artists from the Gunma Biennale for Young Artists- ", The Museum of Modern Art, Gunma, in 2010. After a while, he left Japan and had studied in Berlin, Germany. This is his first solo exhibition after his returning to Japan and 10 new artworks will be exhibited.
