[Talk Title] On Biennales and other things: the Japanese art scene through Australian eyes
[Talk contents] (Presented in English & Japanese)
Concluding her one month residency at 3331, Australian writer and curator Annika Kristensen will research the various models of presenting exhibitions in and around Tokyo: from not-for-profit or artist-run spaces to larger museums and institutions. Her talk will focus in particular on the current Yokohama Triennale, as seen from her own perspective, having worked on the 18th and 19th Biennale of Sydney exhibitions in 2012 and 2014.
