"Sanjusangen-do Project" was initiated by the artist TETTA with the aim of taking the portrait of 1000 people dressed as bodhisattvas. The project began in May 2010 and reached its goal in September 2012. Here all 1000 participants are exhibited, presenting an extraordinary world. Furthermore, with the goal of leading towards the next step, participatory workshops are still being held nationwide. As of March 2014, there have been as many as 1243 participants.
