Tomoko Mizuno “Glass Sprite”

Tomoko Mizuno

Born 1974. She pursues her work in the fashion which points to the forgetting of something that was once felt and the uncovering of something that will be learnt from now. She received an Honorable Mention in the MOE Picture Book Awards 2002. Since then she has continued her work as an illustrator, while also presenting her works in various exhibitions. Solo exhibitions include "Removing the Wick" at Variete Honroku and "On a Windy Day" at Gallery MALLE, where she has also joined a group exhibition "Let's Drive" in 2012.

Her work includes the cover design for " The Lost Books of the Odyssey" Hakusuisha Publishers and pamphlet illustrations for "Proud Season Story Book" Nomura Estate Agents.

At the same time as holding this solo exhibition her works will also be on sale at the multi-space 2k540　AKI-OKA ARTISAN, just 5 mintues walk from the venue as part of the creators' market【WANSAKA】
