3331 ART EXPO! !
Chiyoda Arts Festival is back again this year! !

Chiyoda Arts Festival is an open submission art event which has taken 3331 Arts Chiyoda as its stage since 2010. In its first year this program was realized under the title of "3331 Independents" in an open exhibition without a selection panel. From its second year the event further widened its scope to include not only an exhibition, but also a stage program, in which performance of all genres was presented, along with a market program in which artists and creatives could directly sell their art goods, further extending the reach of 3331's appeal. Up until now over 700 artists, arts professionals and members of the general public have presented their work within this festival, continuing to grow as a stage for communication. Now in its third year in 2012 under the title of "3331 EXPO", we present not only the opportunity to "see art work and buy goods", but also offer a platform in which to join in dialogue with the creators themselves.

● "3331 Independents" - Rich in Free Ideas and Energy
An "independent" open call exhibition is one which presents work without a selection panel and without hierarchy, but at 3331 a scholarship program is also offered in the support of artists' creative practice. Selected artists will be awarded the opportunity to hold their own exhibition at 3331 in 2013 (tbc). The selection process includes an audience ballot, nomination by guest jury and a strict inspection by 3331 staff.
