To coincide with the publication of the Japanese version of La Vie Possible de Christian Boltanski（Edition du Seuil,2007）Christian Boltanski is travelling to Japan and presenting a special talk which will cover his childhood experiences, his family, and his range of work from the 1960's to the present day.

Further more Boltanski shall also be introducing some of his most recent activities including the "Heart Beat Archive" presented at Setouchi International Arts Festival and the installation "Personnes" (Grand Palais, 2010). Erika Osaka, Director of Yokohama Museum of Art was the curator of Boltanski's solo exhibition at ICA Nagoya in 1990. Kyoko Sato is the translator for the new publication as well as being the producer of a video work about the artist himself.
